As a performance poet I am always looking to work with others who would find what I do of interest. Therefore I have designed and dedicated this page of my website to those who are helping me to promote both my work and the wonderful world of poetry as a whole.

BBC Radio Kent

On occasions I have had the privelige of reading some of my work on the 'Pat Marsh Show' for BBC Radio Kent. I have enjoyed such occasions and must say that I am always thankful to both Pat and his colleagues for giving me opportunities to share my work in this way.

Canterbury Festival

A while ago I had the honour of working in association with the Canterbury Festival on the 'Words On Wheels' Poetry Bus, which toured different schools within Kent. I had tremendous fun with the children of Linden Grove Primary in Ashford and great fun once again in Canterbury town centre on the Tuesday of the summer half term week.

Class Act

Class Act is a wonderful agency dedicated to (as they say) 'bringing literacy to life'! One particular way they do this is by helping various organisations find a good author/poet for a visit. I worked with them whilst I was in the UK and they helped team me up with some lovely schools. They work tirelessly towards their goals for literacy and so of course deserve a special mention here.

Equity

Whilst I was performing my work in the UK, I had the honour of being granted Equity membership. Equity is the world famous established UK Union for all performing artists and those who work within the performance industry. Therefore if you aim to work in the performance industry then don't forget to speak to them first. They were a great help to me and are so nice, that they told me my membership would be granted instantly once again if I were to return to the UK one day.

Folkestone Book Festival

Kenn Nesbitt

Kenn Nesbitt is a wonderful American children's poet, his poems are very funny and his website is one of the best sites I've found, (apart from my own of course)!! It contains all sorts of funny poetry, news, information and even poetry games! Kenn obviously loves poetry as much as I do, so don't just visit my site but visit his one too!

The Poetry Archive

Its website is a superb place to visit for anyone interested in poetry, as it is full of great information and great poems that can be read or even listened to. The Poetry Society

The Poetry Society is a wonderful charity, who along with it's members always aims to promote both the use and enjoyment of poetry by all. Their website tells you all about them and is a very interesting site to read. They organise all sorts of events to enjoy, (such as National Poetry Day) and also create great ideas on how to bring us all into contact with poetry, (such as Poems on The Tube). Take a look and see what you can discover!
